The
history of our Old School was launched at the Old Highburians Reunion
on Sunday 17 April 2005.
And
this new page on the Rockingham
Press website is devoted to Highbury County -- so please use it,
criticise it, contribute to it, or whatever.
First the
book. Highbury County Revisited by Brian Boyle,
edited with additional material by David Perman, contains 160
pages. It also includes numerous photographs -- among them the
school's 1953 and 1964 panoramic photos -- reminiscences, biographies
and gossip.
It is a real
bargain at £9.95 and is only available from Rockingham Press,
11 Musley Lane, Ware, Herts SG12 7EN. When sending your cheque
make sure you include your full name and address, and please add
£1.50 for postage and packaging in the UK, £2.50 for postage to
elsewhere in Europe and £5.00 for the rest of the world.
Next
year's Reunion will take place in April at
the Victory Services Club, 63/79 Seymour Street, London W2 2HF.

THE

the book. First that of Summer 1953 -- Mr. R.J. ("Boggy") Marsh's
last term -- then a photograph of the expanded staff of 1957 with
the new Headmaster, Mr R.J. King:
